The Institute for the Advancement of Psychotherapy (IAP), which the Bay Area Center for Adolescents is a specialty center of, is an out-of-network provider for psychological services. If you have a PPO plan, you can pay for your sessions, we can provide you with an invoice, and you can submit that invoice to your insurance company for reimbursement. To determine your reimbursement, ask your insurance company how many sessions they cover, whether there is a deductible, what percentage they pay, and what the usual and customary rate is.
